Food Delivery (Shipping beyond our local delivery area)

• Note: we cannot ship eggs!
• We ship food to any zip code in Virginia, DC, and Maryland! Certain products - currently ground beef and scrapple - can be delivered anywhere in the continental US.
• Orders are shipped on Mondays and Wednesdays via UPS Next Day Air services
• Orders are packed in insulated boxes with cold packs. Depending on transit times, your orders may arrive either frozen or thawed-but-cold. As long as your items are cold, they're fine

Food Delivery (Door to Door Delivery)

• A more affordable door to door delivery option is available to a few locations, check our delivery locations to see if we do door to door to your zip code. 
• There's a flat delivery fee ranging from $5 - $14 depending on where you're located. It's the same fee whether you buy one dozen eggs or thirty chickens.
• Eggs, meat, and poultry are delivered directly to your door by our delivery driver.
• To keep packaging costs low, the packages are not insulated, but orders are delivered frozen solid (except for eggs) in a corrugated cardboard box
• We recommend leaving a cooler out, or leaving instructions with your apartment/condo reception, if there's a chance you won't be home when we deliver
• Sunday at midnight is the deadline for getting orders on our trucks for delivery the following week
• On Monday we send out an email that gives your delivery date. Deliveries are typically made Tuesday through Friday

Pet Treat Delivery

These are shipped via USPS on a rolling basis throughout the week. You will be emailed a tracking number once your order has shipped.

Merch Delivery

These are shipped via a third-party fulfillment service, typically DHL or USPS. We generally process these orders the same day they're placed and you'll receive an email with shipping and tracking info once the order has shipped.
